Foxy Butter Dish

Beautifully hand sculpted, this sleek Fox sits curled up with its thick fluffy tail draped against the front of its body. Distinctive head, with perky ears and pointed nose rest above the tail, while two small paws peak out below. The tips of the ears and nose are airbrushed with black glaze, and a pair of round, black acrylic eyes complete the face. The Fox sits, nestled on top of a sculpted tray, made to resemble a thicket of trampled down bramble. Three pastel colored flowers with leaves decorate this bed of bramble. The paws sit perfectly in two depressed areas of the thicket to ensure a nice fit. Four clear rubber bumpers are attached to the bottom of the tray.

Earthenware Clay, Food Safe glaze. Available in Satin White, Satin Orange & Satin Wedgewood Green. Each dish is signed by the artist, on the bottom of tray.

I have been collecting Doug Anderson’s pieces for years. They are proudly displayed throughout my house, and now I have a Chameleon Butter Dish on my kitchen counter. It makes me smile and brighten my day!
